Fix and Mix Day, aka Lumberjack Day – Saturday, March 24 and Saturday, November 10, 2012

What time does it happen?
7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  A hearty breakfast is prepared at 7:30 and we have a devotional at this time.  We start work at 8:30 a.m. and finish up around 12:30.  That last hour is spent cleaning up and putting things away.  Then we supply a great ‘box lunch’ for you to eat at the camp or take home with you. RSVP by filling out the form below to let us know you are coming in your group.

What is Fix and Mix Day?
A day to clean up the camp after a long blast from Old Man Winter and Mother Nature!!

What do we do?
We have many projects scheduled that day.  Including window washing, raking, cleaning buildings, some minor repairs, minor painting, clearing brush and debris from our trails, policing mowing zones for debris, landscaping assistance, pressure washing concrete and decking areas in need, tree removal and lumberjacking, and other general cleanup.

Who can help?
Anyone.  We have jobs for all ages and all sizes, and all abilities.  If you can pick up a stick, you can help!!  Even if you just want to cheer people on and thank them for their service.

What if I can’t make it for the entire time?
That is okay.  Whether you can be here for one hour or five, your time and talent will be greatly treasured and appreciated. We have special needs as well depending on your ability.  Should you have a trade skill that can bless the camp, please fill out the form below.

If you are familiar with a chainsaw and need wood to help heat your home please feel free to come.  We have a special team that takes down trees and cuts up the wood.  You are welcome to take as much home with you as you can fit in your truck or trailer.

A great opportunity for families, small groups, youth groups and individuals to come out to camp and help be the hands and feet of Jesus.

To volunteer for the event, please fill out your information below.  Under comments, please let us know if you have any special skills that may be helpful.  I.E. - Plumber, electrician, painter, or chainsaw master!
