Climbing Wall – To add to our outdoor adventure program and summer camp program a climbing wall would really help our programming choices for all campers that come to MCYC of all ages. Estimated cost is $40,000
Leap of Faith Teambuilding Event – Imagine standing 20 feet off the ground and jumping for a trapeze as your team belays you below! Estimated cost is $6,500
Flying Squirrel Teambuilding Event - Individuals gain greater confidence, better communication skills and a sense of a shared mission on this element. A participant is attached to the end of a rope that runs approximately 40-feet in the air to a pulley and back down to a group of 8 – 10 Team members attached to the other end of the rope. Working in unison, the “pony team” pulls the “flying squirrel” up to a desired height so they can enjoy the thrill of flying. Estimated cost is $7,500.
Nurses Station Renovation – Complete the upgrades with new siding and windows. Our nurses station has seen many upgrades in the last two years. Help us complete the job! Estimated cost is $6,500.
New bunks and beds in Nurses Station – As we complete our upgrades we need one queen bed and mattress ($650), two bunks with mattresses ($850 each) and one full size bed with mattresses ($500).
Materials - We are currently planning on putting new roof on Dorm 5 in late 2019 or 2020. Dorm 6 was done in 2018. The roof is approximately 8,000 square feet and materials cost $17,000 providing underneath the current shingles is in good shape.

Horses – We will need three to five new horses to start a consistent lesson programing for our riding stables. Cost for each horse is approximately $2,000.
Run In’s – Having run-in’s in our pastures will help us care for and provide better shelter for our horses. As well, a place for the horses to come get their food. Cost for these are between $1,500 and $3,000 depending on size.
Running water lines out to our pastures – This will allow horses fresh water out in the pastures. Approximate cost is $3,000 per pasture. Our goal is to have then in our two closest pastures to the horse barn in the next two years.
New fencing for two pastures – Supplies would be 4x4 posts, high-tinsel wire, and the supplies to do the job. Approximate cost is $3,500.
Pavilion Structure to cover Riding Arena – Our goal is to be able to offer lessons and increase the use of our horse program in the next 1 – 3 years with our local community. Thus allowing us an opening to share the story of Jesus. The cost for the structure is approximately $75,000 to cover it and $150,000 to enclose the arena for year-round use.
Summer Camp Programming A great way to give in different increments. If you send us a gift card, we can go online and immediately purchase what we need. Gift Cards Gift cards to Office Depot, Amazon.com, Tractor Supply Company, and Home Depot work great for camp. Amounts of $25, $50, $100 can go a long way in helping with stocking the camp with the proper things to make smiles on campers faces. Riding Helmets Each year we purchase 10 new helmets for our Horse Program. A gift of $300 would cover this investment of 10 helmets. Crafting Arts and Crafts is a favorite spot for our campers. A gift of $500 would help us purchase most of our crafting supplies for 2018. Lighting 500W LED lights for the front activity field to light up at night. This will allow us to have activities into early evening. Each light is $299 and we will need 8 lights plus installation. Full project cost is $3,500 New Personal Flotation Devices (AKA life preservers) Just like riding helmets we replace these each year, in a seven year cycle. Cost per PFD is about $25 each. $250 for 10.
