Head Horse Wrangler Job Description
The Head Wrangler is responsible for overseeing the horse program, including daily care, training instructors, teaching classes, and leading staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Daily Care and Maintenance
Ensuring the horse herd and barn facilities are well-maintained.
Training and instruction
Training horsemanship instructors and wranglers, and teaching classes.
Staff Management
Leading the barn staff and enforcing staff policies.
Personal Development
Cultivating a godly character and spiritual life.
Safety and Well-Being
Ensuring the safety of horses and staff and contributing to a positive environment. The Head Wrangler must be physically fit, have training in horsemanship, and be willing to accept responsibility and follow guidelines. They should attend all required training sessions and participate in camp program activities as scheduled.
