Summer Camp at Michigan Christian Youth Camp
Summer camp at MCYC is a special time. Every camper will have a chance to spend time doing Arts and Crafts, Leather crafting, archery, fishing, swimming, boating, riflery, dodgeball, octoball, horseback riding, and much more during their typical day.
MCYC's summer camp is a place where kids can come experience a place that is not typical. It's where they can put that daily routine behind them and just be themselves. They will meet some of the craziest people that are in love with Jesus. Our team helps connect each camper with Jesus and strengthen their relationship with God while letting the Holy Spirit work through them each day.
Year after year campers come back to MCYC because camp is where they are accepted for who they are and how God has made each one of them as individuals. We strive as a team to provide an environment for a great summer camp experience that allows for Christian growth. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to come to camp and that camp is an essential part of every child's social, mental, physical, and spiritual development.

Summer Camp 2012
_What Path do YOU take?
As I prepare myself for another year of summer camp there are many thoughts that run through my mind. And as those thoughts grow I must make decisions on which path to travel. We all have those decisions to make no matter where we are in life. Young, old, or somewhere in the middle, God gave us the ability to have a free-will to make choices for ourselves.
This year we will spend some time exploring how to give ourselves to God. Using Proverbs 3:5 – 6 as our text we will explore what it means to trust the Lord, because through this dependence we will be safe. The way to be healthful is to fear the Lord. And finally, to submit to Him always so that our path may be as straight as possible when we are running to the cross!
It’s a difficult world out there that we travel through. MCYC’s summer camp is a place where kids can experience a place that is not full or potholes. It is where they can put that daily routine behind them and just be themselves. They will meet some of the craziest people that are in love with Jesus. Our team helps connect each camper with Jesus and strengthen their relationship with God while letting the Holy Spirit work through them each and every day.
